victory

 REBIRTH of BANGLADESH

Yes! The new independence day of Bangladesh is 5 August 2024. As we know Bangladesh is an independent country. We celebrated 26 March as the independence day of Bangladesh. It commemorates the country's declaration of independence from Pakistan in the early hours of 26 March 1971. But at present the people of Bangladesh like to believe that 5 August 2024 Bangladesh will become independent for the second time. And we can say it is the second independence day for Bangladesh.

If we look back, in 2018 Bangladesh Quota Reform Movement was a students' movement demanding reforms in policies regarding recruitment in the Bangladesh government services. Bangladesh Sadharon Chhatra Odhikar Songrokkhon Parishad initiated movement initially in Shahbag and on Dhaka University campus on 17 February 2018, and eventually spread country-wide by 8 April 2018. In the long run, on 18 July 2018 it was temporarily closed.

At present, in 2024 Quota Reform Movement start again. students become more serious and strict about this subject. At the starting period students need nine point demands to prime minister sheik hasina. But sheikh hasina did not agree to meet their demand, she made a great mistake to say Rajakar to students and try to handle the situation by using chatroleage and police. Sheikh Hasina gave permission to police to open fire on the unweapen students and injured them. Many students, general people, old people and even children also died in this violence. people can't forget the most common two viral names abu sayed and mugdho in this critical time. In this situation the conditions of Bangladesh become worse. All educational institutions became closed, stopped all official activities, internet connection was switched off, financial exchange can't be run easily. In a word bangladesh become lame. At that moment students decided to fix one point of demand that was the resignation of sheikh hasina. The path was not so easy but nothing is impossible for student. If the power of students wants to do anything they can do it. And finally the highly expected day came, sheikh hasina resigned and left the country. It was 5 August 2024, and now this day known as a victory day for Bangladeshi people. Bangladesh became independent for the second time.

Bangladesh gets an interim government led by Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus.

It's a new journey for Bangladesh. Hope for all the best for Bangladesh and Bangladeshi people.

Eid ul adha

 Eid-Ul-Adha

Eid ul adha also known as “kurbanir eid” for the bengali muslim people. In the world there are two main festivals for the muslim people, eid ul adha is one of them. Although the story of eid ul adha was really a matter of sorrow for the Muslim but it has become a great festival now.
Eid-ul-Adha is always celebrated on the 10th day of Zil Hajj month of the Hizri calendar. Hazrat Ibrahim (AS), on this day, offered to sacrifice his beloved son Hazrat Ismail (AS) who willingly submitted to the will of his father to please Almighty Allah approximately  4,500 years back.
But the Almighty in His benign mercy spared Hazrat Ismail (AS) and instead sent a ram to be sacrificed.
After that time following  this historic event, muslim people across the whole world offer prayers in congregations and sacrifice animals according to their own ability in the name of Almighty Allah on the day.
They also offer munajat seeking divine blessings for peace, progress, prosperity and welfare of the Muslim Ummah.
Eid al-Adha is the second major Muslim festival after Eid al-Fitr. On the first day of Eid al-Adha, Muslims who can afford sacrifice an animal and distribute a set percentage of its meat to those less fortunate. This is done in symbolic remembrance of the Prophet Ibrahim, who, as per Islamic faith, was asked to sacrifice his son Ismail by God.

Dhaka elevated expressway

Dhaka Elevated Expressway

Bangladesh is a developing country. Day by day the improvements of our country are really appreciable. The Dhaka elevated expressway is one of them. The Dhaka Elevated Expressway is an all-elevated toll road in Bangladesh. This is the country's first elevated expressway, partially opened in 2023. It's total length is 19.73 kilometers (12.26 mi).It connects the Dhaka airport with the Farmgate area in Tejgaon. Its construction aims to enhance traffic capacity within and around Dhaka city by improving connectivity between the northern part of the city and the central, southern, and south-eastern parts.

The four-lane Dhaka Elevated Expressway route begins near Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at Kawla and runs alongside the railway line through Tejgaon, Moghbazar, Kamalapur, and ends at Kutub Khali near Jatrabari along the DhakaChittagong Highway.

The expressway is toll-operated and accessible to eight types of vehicles, including buses, minibusses, sedans, SUVs, specific trucks, and pickups. However, motorcycles, CNG-run auto-rickshaws, three-wheelers, bicycles, and pedestrians are not permitted on the exexpressway. Tolls for entering the expressway are collected in four categories.

1) Private cars, microbuses (16 seats) and light trucks (below three tonnes) toll charge is 80 Tk,

2) Buses and mini-buses (16 seats and above) toll charge is 160 Tk,

3) Medium-sized trucks (up to six wheels) toll charge is 320 Tk,

4) Large trucks (more than six wheels) toll charge is 400 Tk.

The Dhaka Elevated Expressway project commenced in 2011. On 15 December 2013, the Bangladesh Bridge Authority signed a revised agreement with the First Dhaka Elevated Expressway Company Limited, the investment company of the project.

This project is being implemented under the public–private partnership model, with the Thailand-based Italian-Thai Development holding 51 percent of the shares, China Shandong International Economic & Technical Cooperation Group holding 34 percent, and Sinohydro Corporation Limited holding 15 percent. The project is being executed in three phases. Phase one spans from Kawla near Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport to Banani Railway Station, phase two stretches from Banani Railway Station to Moghbazar railway crossing, and phase three extends from Moghbazar rail crossing to Kutub Khali on the Dhaka–Chittagong highway. The total cost of the project, including main construction cost of the expressway, land acquisition, resettlement of the displaced, relocation of utility service lines, and consultation, amounts to ৳138.57 billion (US$1.3 billion).

On 2 September 2023, the 11.5-kilometre (7.1 mi) Airport–Farmgate segment was inaugurated by the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and opened to traffic on 3 September.

On 18 September 2023, the Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation inaugurated a bus service on the Airport–Farmgate route via the expressway.

On 20 March 2024, the Kawran Bazar ramp of the expressway in front of the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC) was opened for transport movement.

As of March 2024, the expressway has a total of 16 entry and exit ramps. Now it has 15 entry and 16 exit ramps.

Entryramps

Southbound

Entry ramps for southbound vehicles are situated at Kawla near Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, in front of the Army Golf Club on Airport Road, and at Kuril along Pragati Avenue.

Northbound

To get on the expressway from the south, the entrances to the expressway are the north and south lanes of Bijoy Sarani overpass and Banani railway station on Kemal Ataturk Avenue in Banani.

  Exitramps

Southbound

When heading south, exit ramps are situated at Kemal Ataturk Avenue in Banani, Mohakhali Bus Terminal, Indira Road in Farmgate, and Karwan Bazar in front of Bangladesh Film Development Corporation.

Northbound

When traveling north from the south, the four exit ramps are located at the Mohakhali Bus Terminal, the Airport Road opposite Kemal Ataturk Avenue, Kuril Bishwa Road, and the third terminal of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

So we can say in Bangladesh, the Dhaka Elevated Expressway is not just an engineering marvel but also a symbol of the country’s aspirations towards modernization and sustainable urban development. Now people should maintain all rules & regulations. Only then can it be a beneficial good project for all classes of people in daily life.

 Ramadan Mubarak

Ramadhan or ramjan is one kind of ritual performed by all muslim people in whole over the world in a specific time in a year. Ramadan also spelled Ramazan, Ramzan, Ramadhan, or Ramathan. It is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting (sawm), prayer (salah), reflection, and community. Ramadan is regarded as one of the Five Pillars of Islam. Ramadan for all adult Muslims who are not acutely or chronically ill, travelling, elderly, breastfeeding, diabetic, pregnant, or menstruating. The spiritual rewards (thawab) of fasting are believed to be multiplied during Ramadan. Accordingly, during the hours of fasting, Muslims refrain not only from food and drink, but also tobacco products, sexual relations, and sinful behavior, devoting themselves instead to prayer and study of the Quran. Ramadan is considered one of the holiest months of the year for Muslims. In commemoration of the revelation the Qur’an, which began in the month of Ramadan, Muslims attempt to read Qur'an during Ramadan. The entire Qur’an is also recited during special nightly prayers which is known as “Tarabee”. A Muslim family usually rises before dawn and eats a meal called suhur (seheri). At sunset, family members break the fast with a few dates and water, and depending on the culture, other light foods or fruit. This is referred to as iftar which means breaking the fast. Ramadan is a time for Muslims to be especially charitable and fasting & helps Muslims feel compassion for the hungry and less fortunate people. In other hand Doctors are also agree that fasting is extremely beneficial for lowering cholesterol levels and for other health benefits. Fasting is a means of purifying the body as well as the spirit, as it gives the body a rest from the continuous task of digesting food. So, the importance & benefits level of Ramadah is too high. And at the end of Ramadan, Muslims celebrate one of their major holidays called Eid ul-Fitr or the “Festival of the Breaking of the Fast.”
